Living With Diabetes


As we were having a lovely day in the park...living our lives to the fullest, I caught a glimpse of Meech's strong, beautiful hands in the sunlight and wanted to capture them on film forever. As I was focusing my lens, I read his bracelet and then had a moment of sadness as I was reminded how tenuous and fragile his life is in the midst of diabetes. Somehow I think all that came through in this image...
